A sophisticated looking men's watch from Seiko with an automatic movement powering the day/date display mechanism. The case measures 42mm and along with the bracelet is given a mostly brushed steel finish. The clasp has a fold over safety catch for added security and there is a window in the rear of the case allowing you to see into the mechanics of the watch. “Firstly, the quality of the watch and the bracelet is really excellent, I love the simplicity and the classic style of the Seiko 5, it's what attracted me to it. I also wanted a quality automatic movement and this doesn't disappoint, I could watch the second hand sweep around all day. I almost went for the green face, but decided the style would fade with time, so I'm glad I went for the classic black face on silver. I could have bought it cheaper on line, but after reading reviews of online retailers which didn't inspire confidence I went with Hinds after checking their feedback, I'm glad I did and the staff in the Ipswich store were great, taking links out of the bracelet for me and making the whole experience so much better than having a parcel dropped off by a courier.”

“Not good, the so called automatic watch stopped 17 hours after purchase. I reset it and wore it all day but, it stopped again at 5 o'clock in the morning. I returned it to the shop and changed it for Citisen as I had lost confidence in the seiko. I had been using Seiko watches for 60 years and had always found them reliable, very disappointed”

“This is my first new Seiko 5 and it's lovely. It's the perfect dress watch with simple style and subtle on the wrist. The staff at F.Hinds were friendly a professional. They adjusted the bracelt to fit and gave it a final polish. They even filled in the warranty in store. Excellent quality, best price around, great service and one happy customer.”

“Quality watch, easy to read at night, smooth movement, still in perfect condition after swimming with it. Accuracy is at a little under +5s per day. Fits comfortably.”
