“I recently purchased a ring from your Basingstoke outlet. The design and craftsmanship were lovely, but unfortunately, the size was slightly loose. I went back the next day to request a smaller size or a refund. However, I was quite disappointed with the way I was treated. The staff at the Basingstoke store were not welcoming or helpful, and their attitude made the whole experience uncomfortable. As a customer, I expected a more professional and respectful approach when dealing with a simple exchange issue. I sincerely hope your store will improve its customer service in the future. A good product needs to be matched with equally good customer support.”

“The buying process was ok but there was a delay when it should have been available to collect and it wasn’t. Once we returned within 30 days as the ring did not fit the lady who served us came across rather rude. She made my partner feel uncomfortable by spending way to much time checking the ring for damage when we explained it’s only been out of the box once and it doesn’t fit so couldn’t possibly be damaged in any way. Once she then spent an exuberant amount of time checking it she then still wanted confirmation from her manager that it was acceptable to be replaced for a different size. We were then told we would need to wait a further week for the correct size to be delivered which was not explained to me when i purchased and collected the ring. I was told don’t worry just return it within 30 days and we’ll get another size sorted no problem. This lack of information left my partner upset that she wasn’t able to wear her engagement ring and i was not happy either that my partner was upset and that it had not been explained one fully. The experience has tarnished what should have been a lovely experience being recently engaged and has made us think twice about using Hinds in the future. I have attached the ring showing clearly no damage.”

“Beautiful ring which was bought for my daughter. She can’t stop admiring it. The ring itself is very delicate with a small diamond which picks up the light perfectly. Very pleased with the purchase.”

“Very nice ring but broke after 3days. The service when buying the rings was first class however the service when it broke was another story. My fiancée went to collect her ring. It was given to her in a plastic bag an that was it. She asked for a box because we returned it in its box but the young bloke tutted an just said oh if you want I’ll get one she was never asked if she wanted to try it on or if it was ok it was as if we’ve got your money just take your ring an go. Very disappointed in this service an would never go back so we will look for our wedding rings somewhere else even though we’ve seen the ones we like I wouldn’t use this shop again. Stay clear”
