“I am extremely disappointed with my experience with F. Hinds. I purchased an engagement ring advertised and sold as 9ct yellow gold. After only occasional wear, the colour began to fade. When I raised this, staff were initially unable to explain why a yellow gold ring would change colour and attributed it to wear and tear. Only months later was it disclosed that the ring actually contains white gold, something that was never explained at the point of sale, despite me clearly stating I was looking for a yellow gold ring. Had this been disclosed, I would not have purchased it. The issue was dismissed as wear and tear, the ring was repaired without my consent, and a refund was refused, despite the product not matching how it was advertised or described. This experience has been stressful and very disappointing for something that should have been special. I would strongly advise customers check any changes on materials.”

“My partner chose this ring online before we viewed it. The staff at Milton Keynes were brilliant in locating the ring at another branch and had it delivered on the following day so that we could view it and look at it on the finger. The ring was great quality and we felt excellent value for money. After having the ring finger re-checked for size, we arranged to pick up the new ring on the earliest date promised. We paid and left feeling confident with the choice of ring, the sizing, and of the delivery date. Sure enough, the day before delivery we received notification that the ring had arrived and was ready for collection. On the day of collection the staff were just as professional and friendly as before, showed us the ring and allowed my partner to try it on for size. Perfect! Thanks to everyone in the branch at Miltok Keynes and to the others behind the scenes who sized the ring, delivered the ring, and the other branch who speedily sent across the ring for viewing after our initial visit.”
