“Firstly the good.
I really admire Fat Lad At The Backs philosophy in acknowledging that some cyclists enjoy a pie or a pint as much as they enjoy a peddle and have a physic to match.
The top fits well, is of good quality and very shall we say stylish, drawing smiles and positive comments from cyclists and non cyclists alike.
The bib shorts are a different story, though well made I have real issues with fit.
I am slightly short at 5'7 and have issues with the legs of most cycling shorts being too long.
I though that Fat Lads would realise that being a 42inch waist doesn't mean you are 6'3 tall.
After using the size guide, I am disappointed that these shorts although fitting my chest and fat lad equator, are far too long in the leg with the grips flapping uselessly around my knee caps. There is too much loose material around the legs and bum so the legs ride up and bunch up in the crotch and the pad moves around under my bum.
I would buy the jerseys again no problem.

“FLAB gear always raises a smile when you're out on a ride - Lanterne Rouge is a great design, incorporating tradition and a good dose of self-depracating humour.
As with other items (I have the heavier weight long-sleeve version of this too), they are really well made and an excellent fit across the back and shoulders.
I'll happily purchase more FLAB kit.”
