“The board and pieces are beautiful. It was a birthday gift for my husband, it definitely delivered. He has said that this was the greatest gift he has ever received. I had it engraved with Philippians 4:13, a wonderful touch.”

“Hi Farrar & Tanner. I am 100 % happy with my purchase of the chess set. As chess sets go, this is very nice. It looks stunning on my coffee table as a central point and draws you in for a game of strategy. Thank you. Kind Regards Darren.”

“I bought this for a 60th birthday present for my husband, and I have to say we are both delighted with it. Although I had read previous reviews and the reviews were good, it far exceeds what I was expecting. Fabulous chess set anyone would be proud of. And it arrived really quickly as well. Thank you Farrar & Tanner.”

“Absolutely beautiful, was a bit worried, buying from someone new. Arrived quickly and the Chess Set is stunning, along with the board and the case. Highly recommend to anyone. Can’t add photos at the minute, it’s a Christmas present”
