“I needed a heavy mill - and this is heavy. Unfortunately I cannot use it, or find out how to grind or even open to refill!!. Can someone explain to me how to operate this mill? Do I turn the knob to open? Do I turn the top part to grind? Everything is so tight I even got pliers to loosen the top and knob and it didn't MOVE !!! HELP”

Hi Janette, Thank you for your review, It sounds as though the product may have a defect as it certainly shouldn't be this tight. To fill up the pepper you need to unscrew to silver knob at the top of the mill.
