“Comfortable to hold, stainless steel blade sharp. The wooden handle is a much lighter colour than shown in the picture. The blade is held in the wood a bit tighter than my old No 8 which may be a problem in damp weather, time will tell. Overall I still like this knife and it performs well.”

“Looks great, is sharp, but on closer detail you notice why it is cheaper than the rest. The metal of the blade is weak and the tip bent and finally fell off. Yes, probably not using it as a cutting knife, but you wouldn't expect such a knife to made of such weak material. My advice, go for the more expensive in the range.”

“This knife looks very bright and shiny compared to my 40-year old Opinel penknife, but hopefully it will last as long. It's a little lighter and shorter than my original knife, but it's the same simple design and components -- wooden handle; folding steel blade. I bought it for a keen gardener, who should find it suitable for harvesting her crops.”
