“I bought this knife for myself It’s wasn’t anything special and I’m rather disappointed as I’ve had original opinel knifes before and love them I bought this thinking it looked great and would be of the same standards unfortunately this wasn’t the case I used it for camping (food prep, wilting, and other odd jobs) the blade was grate but the handle was rubbish unlike the originals this knifes handle was made from cheap feeling wood the locking mechanism was unbelievably loose I cut my hand open twice and have cut my fingers more times than I can count because the lock just slides open when in use so if this is a present for someone who won’t actually use the knife buy them something that isn’t a knife and if you are buying it for someone who will use it please especially if it’s your first opinel just buy the original”
