“I bought this as a gift for a family member. I chose it because I’ve had years of unfailing use from my own leather man surge. I didn’t realise when purchasing that Leatherman had updated it slightly. The newer version of the surge doesn’t have the super fine screwdriver for repairing eyeglasses, it does have many other improvements though, a different pair of scissors a wire cutter on the plier head sturdier feeling too, other than that it is a much smoother and more pleasing version than the older version. The engraving is excellent too. A very handy tool indeed”
