These are nice gloves but the leather on them is literally the little bit of pale blue. Perhaps I didn’t look close enough At the i for but I thought the brown part was leather and that They therefore they would be hard wearing which I think they will not be. I feel a bit deceived by the advertising of the product and think they are expensive for what they are when virtually none of it is leather. They are quite tight around the wrists too for getting on and off. I have large wrists but keep this in mind if you are considering purchasing them. If you want some stylish looking gloves they are good but probably won’t last you long if you use them often!

Given 4 stars because I wanted a glove that can keep bramble thorns at bay but these don’t do that there is also netting material in between the finders for keeping your hands cool which they do but they also allow stinging knettles to sting through the netting on saying this they are a lovely pair of gloves

I bought some gardening gloves from my Farrar and Tanner after searching for male gardening gifts. I ordered medium for my dad as a birthday gift. They were small and flimsy. When he tried to put one on it tore at the seam, they fit my mum. I maybe should have ordered large but guidance wasn't clear and the main problem was the quality. I tried to phone customer service; no answer. I tried to email; also no response. Overall very poor.

I was looking for a hard wearing glove for briars so they are no use for tat and I ordered a medium and large both the same size so no use for my husbands large hands.

Elegant, stylish gardening gloves, which are so smart I will endeavour to not get them too dirty! Pruning only! Glad you were able to get the larger size - they are a slim-fit glove. Err on this side of caution when ordering your size!

Bought these as a present for my Brother in Law for his Birthday - he was very happy with them. He sent me a pic wearing them, they were a very good fit.
