“Disappointing quality. Very poorly made and packaged. I paid extra for engraving. The plastic wrap was split open to remove the shucker for engraving. Looked so tacky. It was a gift and I felt embarrassed to give it. Don't buy it.”

Hi Laura, thanks for your review. We offer engraving as an additional extra as a personalised gift is always well received, unfortunately we do need to open the cellophane to access the tool, however it should always be put back together as discreetly as possible so as not to distract from the delight of the gift overall. I am sorry that yours was not packaged correctly, it was an oversight on this occasion. Despite this I hope your recipient enjoys the gift and I've organised a partial refund to cover the packaging. “Disappointing purchase sadly. The engraved oyster knife was good quality but not as strong as I hoped. Crab cracker similar, and broke on first use (on a relatively soft, cooked lobster). Nicely presented, but will need to rebuy from another supplier.”
