4 Rating 1 Reviews
Read Farrar & Tanner Reviews

No chef should be without a good chef’s knife, and this is just what he or she will have with this blade from Tramontina’s Verttice range. Useful for a whole host of food preparation tasks, the knife will make short shrift of slicing and dicing, chopping and cutting. It’s a real kitchen workhorse. The blade of stainless steel is heated treated during manufacture for extra strength. The natural wood handle gives a rustic charm, and is finished with stainless steel rivets, which makes it both attractive and long-lasting. It's a great knife for a home cook. It's like a do it all knife. The knife is slightly blade heavy so it may not be as balanced as some other knives but for generic home cooking it's more then adequate. It holds a decent edge whilst having the need to sharpen straight out of the box. It's stainless steel so relatively maintenance free.
