“Very disappointed with this. Followed the cooking instructions so the meat was nicely cooked and still rare. However it was neither particularly tender or tasty. Unfortunately we served the Chateaubriand with Farmisons red wine sauce, which was absolutely awful. Very sweet and with no deep rich meaty flavour. It made the supermarket versions seem quite good. A massive disappointment for what was supposed to be a celebratory meal with an expensive and special cut of meat.”
