My wife (with extremely discerning pallet) has been put off steak for years but trying one bite off my plate has cost us another order containing 8 rump steak meals, she absolutely loves the taste of rump steak from Farm 2 Fork!

It was good and I wanted to taste a difference, if anything it was slightly gamey.

Purchased rump steak at 20% discount for first time costumer. Very hard, tough, chewy and plenty of nerves. I’m scared as purchased diced beef as well and haven’t tried it yet.

Hi Juan, I am really sorry to hear you thought my explanation to you was poor, even rude, I was genuinely trying to be helpful and factful in reply to your product concerns. As I explained in my emails, rump steaks are cut from the hindquarters of the animal, these are a reasonably hard-working group of muscles, and with that, some rump steaks will have a bit more of a bite than others, this can't be helped, it is the nature of the muscles where the rump steaks are cut from. For a guaranteed tender eating experience the best steaks you can buy come from the loin muscles along the back of the animal, these are a light-working group of muscles that include the ribeye, sirloin and fillet steak cuts. Rump steaks are a considerably cheaper cut than the loin steaks and in making that saving, there will sometimes be a compromise on the tenderness of the cut. I am confident if you follow the preparation and cooking advice given in my emails you will have a good eating experience with the remainder of your rump steaks. Best regards, Ollie
