“Really easy to put down”

“Last time I laid wooden flooring was over ten years ago & it was easy to put down and click into place without too much hassle. This time round the small height of the sections ( 7mm) meant that it was tricky to ensure that all the sections lined up with no gaps. The locking mechanism was barely functional at times and prone to coming undone ( especially a problem given the large size of the area I was covering). The final result was OK but not what I had hoped for. Next time around I would pay the extra to get the thicker sections ( 8mm or more) and hopefully a more robust and trouble-free system for interlocking the sections together. Also, the suggested 10% extra is far too much if the area is a straight rectangle, since any sections cut short at the end of a row can be used as the starting section of the next row, hence virtually no wastage.”
