“Once you have managed to get the first few rows of boards in place very important these are square. After this take your time and rest are much easier. First time used this underlay but was very impressed would use again”

“I have had solid wooden floor in previous homes but this is the first time I’ve opted for this type of underlay. I love it, it’s given me a quiet floor (no creeks) with the reassurance that it can be taken up if required. The drawback is that most tradesmen prefer to glue or nail solid floor because it’s easier.”

“Not as easy to use in a room that is an odd shape. The removed layer can also be tricky to deal with. It is probably better than glue.”

“This was the first time we had used this type of underlay - and once you have got the knack, it is VERY easy and straightforward. It really should come with instructions for use - or a link to a Youtube video, showing how it should be used. It wasn't until we were half way through laying the flooring, that we watched a second video, which showed a much better way of laying the flooring. So - Excellent product - but needs more guidance with instructions for use.”
