“We got this because we did not like the metal ones and this one could be made to match the flooring. Like a previous reviewer, we needed to remove the 2 'fins' from under the profile to get the adapter lower. We needed a 'joint' because we have a change in floor from concrete to the wood floor of the new extension. Over time the flooring may have cracked at this point if we did not make a join under the profile. It would be helpful to have a non-metal profile that fitted two areas of the same height.”
