good saw so far cheap blade though . the clamping system is not well thought out slow and weak . the pipe adapter was missing from the box and Menards said it would be a problem getting the part from you . all in all it works and was not expensive so time will tell..

Just recently I was able to put this saw to work since I purchased it. The saw seems to be well built, but the blades DON’T last. I am working with oil field pipe (drill pipe) 23/8”-27/8”. I was only able to get a few cuts before the blade wouldn’t cut. It might work well with mild steel, but I’m very disappointed in the saw for what I wanted to use it for.

Best saw I have purchased and the best customer service you could ask for.

Very impressed with the quality of this saw. Seems to be well built. The first piece of mild steel I cut was 4" wide and 3/16" thick. This saw mlcut through quickly in about 20 seconds without much down pressure on the handle. I am very pleased with this saw so far.

I’m keeping in mind that this saw is designed more for the homeowner/DIYer so with that Said I’m very pleased with it. It makes quick precise cuts, just like I was looking for. I would love if it had a quick release on the vice. Overall I’m happy with my purchase.

The lead screw for the vise is very time consuming. The type on the 385 is much more user friendly
