“I needed this to cut up 20mm box section. Impressed with the sheer amount of cuts the blade handled, probably about 40 cuts before needing to replace. I was hoping for more and would probably have got more if the odd cut here and there was straight... For some reason the cut strays - a C clip also fell off the clamp, leaving that useless... Otherwise I'd have given this full marks”

“First of all this was purchased for a DIY project of laying a deck. I have only used it a few times so far and have found it to be excellent and really good value for money. I have certainly not been disappointed with it. Time will tell regarding it’s durability and if considering buying a mitre saw that will perform well and not break the bank this saw must be a serious contender in your buying consideration.”

“First time I purchased a sliding mitre saw. Was in two minds if should get some 12 inch brand, but this 10 inch Rage is perfect. I just use occasionally so doesnt need to be the build quality of a Dewalt etc. This does the job. A lot easier than using my jigsaw or circular saw. Should have got one ages ago. Only thing to bear in mind is you need to spend 20 min adjusting it to make sure the angles of cut are precise. There are a few Youtube videos on how to do this. The only thing that nearly made me give it back because I thought it was a fault, was when I was trying to assemble it and trying to put the blade on. I did not realise there was a slight 'ridge' on which the blade has to sit before you tighten the bolt. All in all very happy with this compact and fairly easy to carry saw.”

“A DIY'er only, so wanted a mitre saw that was easy to set up and use. The Evolution RAGE 3 was available from my local branch of Screwfix, at a very reasonable price, so decided to invest. I soon had it out of the box, set up, and working. The laser was accurate straight out of the box so no fiddling required. I have now used my new saw on various occasions, and had bought the saw bench at the same time which folds up so easily and is a boon for use out of my garage/workshop. The saw came with the multi-cut material blade. Highly recommended”
