“I use my Rage3-S for cutting metal mainly. It was one of the main reasons I bought it but have used it to cut wood as well. The cuts are very clean and tidy and leave no rough edges even on metal. I have cut up to 5mm mild steel plate and 50mm box section with no problems. The only down side I would say is when cutting steel of any type you need to make sure you are wearing the right PPE. There is no sparks but very small bits of metal is thrown from the cutting disk. Saying this I still rate the Rage3-S as one of the best Multipurpose Sliding Mitre Saws on the market and at a great price.”

“This is a very well pull-together unit with excellent bearings and motor. The actions in all planes are smooth and precise and give clean accurate cuts when the motor slides or is fixed (i.e. like a normal chop saw). I recommend the attachments (extractor bag and clamps, etc.) and they extremely well-priced. This is an excellent device for medium--level DIY work and I expect it to last.”
