“I wanted a circular saw for a project I intended to tackle which involved cutting up to 14 sheets of 18 mm plywood. I did lots of research to find the best saw / blade combination for the task & finally decided on the Fury Circular Saw which came with a tungsten carbide tipped blade so was suitable for cutting metal as well as wood, this is useful just in case the odd nail is encountered when cutting wood. The saw performed exactly as I expected, smooth cuts, no fraying of the plywood edges & was a pleasure to use. I think the addition of a dust collection bag would be a good idea but working outside this was not an issue as long as a dust mask & safety goggles are worn. I only used the side guide occasionally as I preferred to clamp a timber straight edge for guiding the saw. I did find the side guide locking screw a little close to the angle locking screw which did mean it was a little awkward to tighten but this is just a minor niggle. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase & the excellent build quality means the saw should give many years of use. I would not hesitate in recommending the Fury 185 mm Circular Saw.”

“Excellent product. Purchased to allow me to whizz through cutting / fixing my skirting boards (straight & 45 degree cuts). My only constructive comment I have is that with all it's specifications & functions, it's a real shame it doesn't come with a dust bag.”

“I made this purchase for general use but specifically for a fence I was installing alongside my drive. I found it very easy to use - quite light to handle. very easy to adjust the angle of cut. The instructions were very straightforward. I don't have previous experience of circular saws so can't really do a comparison but for a lady in her late sixties tackling such a job, it helped me greatly and I am now looking forward to my next project!”
