I haven’t used the saw a whole lot yet but so far it is great. I’m in the process of building a stand for it and the miter cuts are fantastic. Quick and straight cuts through 3X3 1/4” wall tubing. This will replace my horizontal bandsaw for about 90% of what I’m doing.

I bought this a few months ago and have a few hours of cutting on it. It is quite a good saw for the price. It has sufficient rigidity to perform clean, accurate and efficient cuts. This rigidity also helps with the blade life, and the included blade is good quality. It has enough power to run the included blade without bogging down. Anyone with experience knows not to force it anyway, and it is obvious that the carbide geometry of the blade was appropriately selected. I've cut a fair bit of 1/8 angle, square, pipe and i-beam and it cuts them all very well. The saw is loud, but not excessive - hearing protection is a pre-requisite for this type of work anyway! There are a few quirks and areas for improvement, but none are show-stoppers. - The top clamp is advertised as having 5 positions, but generally only the 3 on the right are usable because the others interfere with the motor. - The v-blocks are a good idea, especially with the retainers, but they the shape is not always appropriate for the material being cut. I wish there were more options. - There are a series of holes on the top that could allow for additional clamping options, but they are an oddball size and industry standard 16mm clamps are too small. Certainly the included top clamp could not be used either. Maybe an optional accessory sleeve or clamp set could be offered. This would be especially handy to install a workstop for cutting multiple lengths.

I have to admit, I was a little reluctant at first (mostly because of the cost). However, once I started using the chop saw, it was hard to imagine how I got by with traditional chop saws before this.

The versatility of this saw is perfect! It allows you to get the cuts that you need with the miter and sliding capabilities that you just can’t get from a standard chop saw.

Great saw. Has made a much quicker job out of cutting angles. The aluminum saw table I think should be steel. When you make a cut and push material through to the next cut it puts gouges in the top from the sharp edges from previous cut. Overall love it though.
