“Seems to be a great saw. Made several cuts at 90 and 45 degrees. Saw is accurate with very little clean up of the parts. Saw is pricey but should be worth it.5 stars.”

“This saw is an absolute beast!!!! Something that has been needed in the metal working field for a LONG time! 5 stars! My only issue was the screws that came in the packaging, to secure the blue backing plate for the slide, we’re stripped. The threads in the frame were fine, but the 2 screws had flattened threads… and were unusable. Still 5 stars though!”

“Once you get used to all the permutations possible w/ the 3-point workpiece clamp system (YES you always need all 3), this saw makes quick work of cutting your metal. A major reason for upgrading from my 6-year-old Evolution chop saw was for more accurate 45 deg cuts. As you can see from the attached images using a piece of scrap 1" x 3/16" flat stock, the cuts were fast, quickly reproducible and accurate. You will create more cutting shavings that are much finer than on older chop saws. If you have an Evolution Magnetic Chip Collector, cleanup is simple because of the non-magnetic aluminum base. The saw also is much quieter than my older chop saw.”

“Well packaged, quality of parts and fitment extremely good. Easy assembly instructions. Smooth operation of buttons, stops, and saw motion. Clamps are well made and clamping method is the same you'd find in high quality miter saws. Evolution saw blades are top shelf comparable to morse and fein.”
