“Very nice chop saw. Performs as described. Metal remains cool after cutting. Cuts very quickly, but I still take my time to get a very clean cut. I adjusted the scale for cutting angles when I got the saw. This is something I do with everything that has these scales as a measure to make sure I am cutting true angles. Has worked flawlessly.”

“Good points: - Blade cuts mild steel hollow section like butter - no issues there. - Came with 2 "free" blades (so three in total including the one fitted to the machine) which means they were actually about £50 each when the package price is compared to other online sellers. Bad points: - Very noisy motor. Wear ear protection and ask your neighbours to wear also. - Throws out a LOT of chips all over the place, very few actually go into the collection tray. Have a magnet handy to get chips out your hair and ceiling and floor. - The Vice is TERRIBLE. The flimsy cast aluminium moveable back flexes when the vice is tightened. Worst is that the front clamping jaw lifts UP when tightened which means the work is lifted off the flat base of the machine - making it difficult to make repeatable cuts. - The Vice angle is settable at 45deg however the slop in the pins means it moves between 44deg and 46deg so take a gamble or use a angle gauge to calibrate if you want it accurate. - Brushed motor - Made in PRC. Nuff said.”
