“This is a vast improvement over the original plastic inserts which were not level with the table and needed packers to bring them to level. It was not immediately obvious how you were supposed to cut the zero inserts. I removed the guard and then pushed the plate down onto the revolving saw blade. Job done. Once plate is on its level with the table and seems more robust. Should have been fitted in the first place.”

“Good solid quality but you need to use the saw to cut through the plate. Watch the video for that aspect, very useful.”

Stiffer, stronger, made from cast alloy and designed to fit perfectly, it’s the ideal solution for anyone who needs to make the most accurate narrow, full-depth cuts on their RAGE5-S Table Saw. Evolution’s new Aluminium Throat Plate is stiffer than our OEM plastic version and any aftermarket options. It offers more support to the workpiece, and is now adjustable at each corner to ensure it sits perfectly flush with the table top and is less likely to flex when you’re applying a lot of downward force to help make a full-depth cut in a short workpiece. It’s precision cast to offer a perfect fit and uses the same simple and reliable locking mechanism as the OEM insert.
