Purchased this table saw after reading several reviews from various sources and so far I have not been disappointed. Initially, it takes a bit of time to assemble the stand but then you will need to set up the saw table which takes a bit of time and limited information in the instructions. The parallel fence measurement scale was quite far out and there is nothing in the instructions to tell you how to rectify. As a very experienced user of woodworking machines I knew how to fix. However, I am sure that if I phoned Evolution Power Tools technical support they would have helped. I did have to phone and email Evolution as the Mitre Gauge was faulty which they replaced within days. Unfortunately the replacement was faulty too, so they replaced this very quickly. As to the versatility and the features this saw provides all of the features that most users would need and having the ability to cut wood, metal and plastic with the same blade is a godsend. I have even cut bricks and tiles with the Evolution Diamond Blade (not supplied with the machine). Although the machine is quite bit it is very portable, due to the stand, but is also very stable platform. Dust extraction is another great advantage but does need the use of a vacuum suitable for this type of work. Finally, a slightly annoying element about the unpacking and assemble is that there is a polystyrene block below the main motor which obviously needs removed prior to use but mentions nothing about this in the instructions.

Very straight forward build instructions, just need to follow them. A little awkward when folding so be careful. Moves easily and solid when on the feet. Motor smooth and for the only 4 uses to date cuts like a dream. This has been purchased for a Men's Shed operation so will be used by a variety of men with different levels of skills but all will have safety training before use. We like evolution tools.

The saw is good overall, im a bit disappointed with the riving knife it seems to be a bit twisted and catches as the material goes through the blade . May se if i can pack the fixing a little so it straitens. The saw is very easy to set upon its stand and is very stable ,a good size table so easy to cut large boards etc , i would recommend this saw .

After the second usage, the rip fence was broken. I contacted Evolution Customer Support, but unfortunately I was informed that I should contact the retailer for the spare part. I have no idea why I should contact the retailer if I need a spare part for an item that was purchased before less than a month. Currently, I got back to my old table saw trying to figure out what I should do with this piece.

Seems robust and initial cutting performance is very good. Overall performance is a little let down by very poor design of blade guard - no visibility of lead in to the cut. Minor missing components for assembly were swiftly provided by Evolution team, but this really should be fixed to avoid poor initial impressions. Overall it seems a good purchase and I look forward to the 10+ years of trouble-free service that my last (non-Evolution) table saw gave.

I have not used this yet but have studied many YouTube videos and believe this table saw is the best available for the price. I have several other Evolution tools and have never been dissapointed

Difficult to assemble, instruction not terribly clear. Could do with a dvd either on line or with package. Once together saw seems very good value for Monet. I particularly like the sliding table section
