Perfect for my DIY projects. Makes life a lot easier. Wish I had bought one years ago.

Well thought out design. This is the first chop saw I have brought which was to help build a summerhouse. Have done hundreds of cuts. Replaced the supplied blade for a one designed for wood. For the first couple of weeks didn't have the associated Evolution work bench and had it mounted on a workmate. Much safer with the proper bench.

There are a few issues the blade is slightly out of square (Vertical alignment) , and the small clamp design needs sorting out, but this would not stop me recommending this saw. It worked brilliantly and as I was not making deep vertical cuts the slightly out of vertical alignment wasn’t an issue but the clamp was a pain in the proverbial.

The saw was easy to set up using the instructions provided.Watching a Russel Platten video on youtube beforehand on R210SMS gave me a good idea of what to expect.I checked the 90 and 45 degree angles of the the blade using a set square and they were spot on out of the box.I have used the saw on a few projects and it works perfectly. So far I have only used the blade to cut wood but nice to know I can cut plastics and metal without changing it.The only minor negative is that the laser line is almost impossible to see in daylight and bit fuzzy and indistinct.I will have a play around adjusting it but it's not that big a deal.

Built two decks (frame and boards) with this saw. A proper workhorse that does what it says. Nice and tidy and works well with the associated stand. The only thing I would say is that the blade can heat up if you use it incorrectly, so watch some videos to be sure. Great tool I would recommend to anyone.
