“I bought it to chop some skirting board at 45 degrees. It does that fine with nice clean cuts and it was cheap. However I am under no illusion it will prove to be an enduring tool as my neighbour also has one and that has a short in the motor that causes the fuse to blow rendering it useless.”

“Excellent value. Great price for this Mitre Saw. Cuts very cleanly and accurately . I bought this as I was making nearly 50 cuts in 2 x 4 for a garage shelving project. It’s made the whole thing look very professional. Now I have gained confidence I am using it to cut mitres for skirting board, with excellent results. My only negative point would be the clamp, the seating for this and retaining bolt have become a bit loose due use.”

“Good handy compact saw. Only thing I'm disappointed with are the small square locking screws. Why these are now being used is a bad design. Going back to using previous model. Come on evolution you can do better.”
