“I am a competent DIYer and have found that the stand is sturdy and well constructed. It works as it should, but there are a few niggles. Firstly I have an old evolution stealth sliding chop saw which fits on the stand clamps, but the design of the clamps means the angle release bar hits the clamps when cutting anything about 38deg - it might be because the chop saw is an older model, but something to bear in mind and a pretty basic requirement. Secondly the roller extensions feel a little flimsy - the knurled knobs are not brilliant and it would be better with compression levers instead. This is particularly an issue on the roller height adjustment as over a period of time during use, the knurled nut is simply not enough to stop the roller slowly descending when cutting lots of timber. A more robust retention system would be better. Finally it would be good to have an easier way (handles) to move the stand around with the chop saw attached without having to fold in the extension arms etc for reasons mentioned above. If Evolution where to address this niggles the saw stand would be great”

“Bought this stand along with the mitre saw as if you bought them from Screwfix together there was a discount. Really impressed with this stand and it comes with a 3 year warranty!! It’s faultless and is very well made and works well. There’s extendable rollers left and right for those long cuts of timber. These just go back into the stand if you don’t want to use them.”
