“I bought this stand for an evolution mitre saw, which suits it perfectly. The assorted fixing screws and wing nuts would benefit from further attention. The stand itself is excellent, with easily extended / folded legs, and it allows lateral adjustment of the saw to cope with timber sections extending to the left or to the right. The extendable roller supports, however, would benefit from a re-think on rotational alignment. Although the square section tube is firmly located within a plastic guide, each guide is out of alignment with the parallel tubes, and is not adjustable, so the rollers are not quite parallel with the surface of the saw table allowing the workpiece to twist and giving inaccurate cuts, unless heavy clamping force is given by hand. All in though, it is excellent value for money, and a provision for adjustment of the roller alignment would make it worth in 5 stars on performance too!”
