Whilst there is a new, improved version of these boots I personally have no complaints about this version, which is great value for money. The adherence of the soles is excellent and I had no problem carrying my kayak (by myself) up a wet and uneven slope in near darkness with these on. The boots provide great protection and are very comfortable to wear, both for walking and launching and whilst kayaking. As others have said they are quite neat fitting so go up a size if you want to wear anything other than a thin sock. The standard laces are grey but my boots came with an extra pair in a fluorescent colour, like those on the upgraded boots, which was a nice touch. In addition to performing well during sport these boots look good and I didn“t feel at all self-conscious wearing them in the supermarket on the way home after kayaking.

Good quality boots at a fantastic price. These boots provide good grip on the river and laces are good quality. Comfortable, I went a size up for my own size and to fit over drysuit and socks. Definitely value for money at the price I got them. Much more durable so far than other kayak boots I have owned.

Grippy, comfortable boating boots. I've used them so far for open boating, sea kayaking and a bit of coasteering and they still look brand new! I found that the sizing is quite small. I Initially ordered a pair of 9's but had to send them back and go up a whole UK size to get a pair that fitted so i would definitely recommend trying them on in the shop first!
