“Sadly I have made an expensive mistake. Although I really like this buoyancy aid it really isn't the best fit. It felt fine when standing but once in my kayak with spray deck it rose up round my ears even with all straps tightened. I concluded (unfortunately having worn it once on the water so unreturnable) that it really wasn't suitable as the straps were too long the front part rubbed around my neck. I realise this is almost certainly due to the fact that I am only 4' 11" and the aid is too long in the body. When I purchase another one I shall have a dry run with spray deck sitting in kayak. I have never had this trouble before with buoyancy aids so it must be longer in the body than other types. I wonder if Palm would have any thoughts about this.”
