“Excellent General Purpose Boating Boots! I bought these for sailing and small dinghy use. The volume of the front foot section is huge, and easily allows thick inner socks plus dry suit socks, with space to spare (I wondered if I should swap them for a smaller size). However the strap across the front of the ankle holds the foot securely and stops it moving despite the large volume of the boot. I have used them for walking down to a lake across fields, stream beds, beaches etc and they are very comfortable and sure-footed on wet grass and rock. The fabric legs keep you dry whilst paddling in the water whilst boat launching, but are wide enough to roll down to form ankle boots in warmer weather, and can be rolled up so the boots pack away into quite a small space. I have only used them twice so far, but they look well-made from good quality materials, and I am expecting them to last a long time. Overall, the best boating footwear I have ever bought!”
