“With a narrow side passage to store our kayaks, the fact that these racks fold back are just what we needed. However it would be great if there was a bit more resistance in folding as the racks can annoyingly fold back when attempting to deposit a long kayak on them. That said, they work, are well made and easy to install. It’s worth the buy.”

“I live North Coast Cornwall close to the sea with the sea air being an absolute killer for metal . This is the second of these I have purchased from Escape the first having lasted 8 years with zero maintenance before rusting out / failing . Considering I mount them on an external wall, believe me in this environment this is very good going and shows the powder coating is very good. I will be giving this one the odd WD 40 spray occasionally and expect it to last at least another 8 years. Thoroughly recommended .”

“The rack works well and holds the kayaks. I found it helpful to put the kayak in the rack and then turn the rack as if putting away so it was tight against the kayak and could stop it moving in the rack. You could use a strap to do the same but that’s just something else to do. I did find it very hard to attach the fittings to the wall. I followed the instructions and drilled the holes as described but it was a real challenge to get the screws into the fixings. That was probably the hardest bit of all of it. If I had focussed on the fitting i would have given it three stars.”

“The rack is just the job, storing my sea kayak neatly against the wall. The brackets fold out of the way when not in use. Great Service again.”
