Excellent for use with an empty boat, but rather delicate wheels for a loaded craft. Also, you need to rig up your own strapping system. Simple if you push the trolley; something more elaborate required if you use the easier method of pulling the trolley.

This was a Christmas gift for my son. He chose this trolley and is pleased with it. Delivery and packing were fine. Thank you.

Excellent little trolley, just slings stray onto front of kayak and your off. Seems strong and well made. I've got quote a hefty sea kayak.

Took a few practices to work out the best way to strap it on (used long tail to loop around axels to prevent it slipping back down kayak and dropping off) but now got it sussed! Mates very jealous of me wheeling my boat around and being able to pack it in my day hatch - they are looking to get one too!

This is the perfect lightweight stowaway trolley for any slim narrow kayak or surfski with a pronounced V shape. The wheels detach easily and are light solid and narrow. The narrowness of the wheels makes this trolley unsuitable for soft ground. On tarmac it's a breeze. The strap that comes with the trolley is quite long - initially puzzling - but the length is used to secure the trolley in an upright position and having done so the trolley is stable. Without the strap it's possible for the V cradle to move out of alignment with the wheels and rotate till it touches the ground. I used this on an Epic V5 surfski and it worked fine and stowed neatly under the hatch. Escape watersports delivered the trolley the next day and communicated efficiently - a good experience all round, hence 5 stars.

i bought this for getting my surf ski around but its also up to the job of getting a sea kayak on & off a Calmac ferry. i would take a bigger trolley for any sort of portage as the user takes a good bit of weight with this end-mounted device but its the smallest / lightest thing for boats & slipways if thats all you are doing. the frame wont fit through a 9 inch hatch but goes easily into the big oval ones.

Small and lightweight. I've got 2 other larger trolleys, and this is the one for shorter hauls where small size and convenience matter more than ability over rocks or soft sand. Good well made kit, attach it properly and it'll stay put well.
