“The seawing kayak carrier is an excellent product together with the stinger attachment it makes getting my kayak on and off mycampervan so easy without the risk of damaging the paintwork. Would recommend to anyone”

“I bought two sets Malone Seawing Kayak Carriers. Escape Watersports weren't able to tell me what dimensions of roof bar they would fit, so I emailed the manufacturers who quickly came back; so that's anything up to 88mm wide, and 31.75mm tall, if anyone else has the same query. The carriers came on time and would fit the bar no problem. But.... as I had quite deep cross bars, I needed 70mm bolts. Mine came with a full set of stainless 50mm bolts (too short for my purpose) and bizarrely a mixture 7 x 60mm and one 70mm. I contacted Escape Watersports and they quickly got 7 x 70mm bolts to me. The omission was down to the manufacturers/suppliers. The carriers are great, very solid and make loading our two largish (27kg and 23 kg 4m+) sea going sit-ons much easier and hold them well in transport. Our sit-ons are 66cm (OK Scupper Pro) and 65cm (RTM Disco) wide, so be careful with wider craft, they might not fit depending on hull shape. As always I would strongly recommend Escape Watersports have bought many itmes off them in the past - I would have given 5 stars had I not had the bolt issue, but that was really not their fault.””

“Having previously used another type/brand of kayak carrier I could see straight away that the Malone Seawing's would be a massive improvement, especially as I had to drive from the Isle of Wight to Scotland with two kayaks (side by side, so two sets of Seawings), enjoy some time on various lochs, and then return; so comfortable and secure motorway driving was a serious factor to consider. In total I did over 1800 miles in that two weeks and the Seawing's were perfect; easy to load/unload from the back of my pick-up and absolutely no issues at all when in use at high speeds. The only downside, which is a shame considering the quality of the carriers themselves, was that the webbing straps they came supplied with are of inferior quality. All had worn significantly and one in particular had split across more than 50% of its width. Thankfully it held by the time I got on the ferry and headed back to the Island. In summary these are high quality devices, you get what you pay for couldn't be truer.”
