“The photo is of my grandson christening the boat! My first sit-on after years of sit-in kayaks and I'm very impressed. All my paddling to date has been in the English Channel so strong tidal currents but the Koa has proved to be very stable manoeuvrable and comfortable. Sits well on the water and progresses through it very smoothly. It's also a good size and weight for me to carry across the shingle to the sea. For what I wanted, the Islander Koa ticks every box.”
