“Seemed well made but was hard and uncomfortable, rubbed arm on zip when practising paddling motion, therefore, returned unused. Would be great for motor boat users, not for canoes!”

“My wife and I have been delighted with our Yak High Back buoyancy aids. We have a two man Sea Eagle inflatable kayak which we use on UK rivers and the sea, we have found the Yak High Backs extremely comfortable and practical. The key feature of the high back enables one to adopt a strong and comfortable paddling position. With there ease of fitting and an array of secure pockets they have surpassed our expectations.”

“Bought this for my sit-on-kayak (FeelFree Nomad with seat fitted) as my standard Helly Hansen PFD was uncomfortable / virtually unusable. The Yak High Back 60N is absolutely perfect as the back is cut high, so doesn't interfere with the seat. Great quality and value, very comfortable, easy to adjust and has a good sized pocket, allowing for a mobile phone in a waterproof cover. Most importantly it works. I have had several immersions this season and it's held me up no problem ... and I'm on the weight limit for mine. Highly recommended, especially for newbies to sit-on-top recreational kayaking who are confused by the PFD options. This is the best one I have found and Escape Watersports are a quality business so buy with confidence!”

“Only used for a few hours, but didn’t notice I was wearing it, so that a good sign. Easy to manoeuvre kayak whilst wearing it. High back good as meant could sit comfortably in kayak without discomfort. Great to have zipped pockets for storage.”
