“The honest answer is I haven’t used it for my kayak as yet but they do feel a really robust quality piece of kit my lowish rating is mainly for the foam pads that come with it. Having set it up for a SUP trip, The foam pads don’t slot into the placements for a really snug fit so when pushing the board onto the racks the pads came out of the racks. I had to put them back in smonce the boards were in place. Also as a consequence having forgotten to take them out after use one blew off the rack on day one all in all a bit frustrating so I’ve replaced them with foam yoga blocks. Really thing they need to stress this with their instructions or better still make them a muck better fit so the don’t come out or off so easily.”

“I found this fiddly to fit on my own (an extra pair of hands is recommended), and the instructions are almost artful in their minimalism. Mounting the kayaks was fine and once on and strapped in, they were secure. Threading the straps through the collars on the top bar took a few goes to to get right (again, the minimalist instructions could be improved in this). The lifetime guarantee is reassuring, considering the price.”
