“A clever if not slightly cumbersome solution to kayak transportation, cheaper than thule's hullavator or halfords dropyak; obviously everyone would prefer the easyrack but cost is a factor. Fantastic vfm over the original cost, as some bar steward nicked the 1st one!? Unbelievable sign of the times.”

“I have these and some Thule Hull-a-Port XT to carry my kayaks. The deterrent of using a lock on the Thule is not enough to warrant the cost difference or brand snobbery. The Malone Foldaway-Js feel more secure on the roofbars and and better made. I put my heavier more expensive kayak on the Malones, the kids kayak on the Thule Hull-a-ports, take from that what you want.”
