“Hood has been great for limiting cold shock when capsizing and keeping me warm after getting back in the boat. Whilst warm, it's not made me sweaty and fits great under my helmet. This is the second one I've purchased, it's a future spare. Great price and prompt delivery from Escape.”

“Works really well under a helmet. Quite thin but the helmet in addition effectively provides the same warmth you'd get from a thick standalone hood. The one size is fine as it is quite stretchy so would fit anything from xs to xl... movement and hearing etc are not restricted at all, pretty much as if you were just wearing a helmet and also keeps your neck warm...”

“This hood is really cosy in wet weather or even just keeping warm when it’s cold. The fleecy inside means it’s comfortable to wear for hours at a time and because the neoprene isn’t particularly thick, it doesn’t impair hearing at all.”
