“I'm rather disappointed with my experience with Escape Watersports. Purchase process and delivery was great, no problems there. However, I bought the HF Synergy belt as I liked the velcro safety feature. Over the last month we've had colder weather and i'm guessing the cold makes the buckle slightly expand as it's diffcult to close, but more importantly very difficult to release using the emergency pull cord. If I bring it in the house and let it warm up, it's fine. I've been in contact with Escape who worryingly (as far as I'm concerned) have told me this is completely normal. They first told me the buckle would only expand in heat, not cold (must be a wonder material that breaks all the rules of physics). I can't believe they are ok with this. It wasn't cheap, and more importantly isn't safe. Feel like I've been brushed off about something that could put my life at risk so unfortunately won't be going back to Escape after this experience.”

“Really comfy even when worn with just a rash vest and keeps the leash out of the way when moving around the board. Standard quick release buckle that is nice and smooth when released.”

“I purchased this waist belt as a dedicated WW waist belt. Previously, I was using a NRS waist belt (another excellent product), but as I'm starting to paddle more moving water having the tensioned release (through the Velcro) as well as being able to carry a throwline without an additional belt seemed like a great idea. The quality of the belt is great and the delivery was really quick as well. Highly recommended :-)”
