The cradles are good however you need to make certain that the bolts on the swivel are properly tight as I had one fall out losing the bolt, nut and sleeve. In my opinion, using longer bolts with a split pin to prevent loss would be an improvement.

These are very well made and the price was very competitive. They support my kayak well - though you need wide bars to fit 2 sea kayaks side by side. The straps are great - though they don't move through the slots very easily (I used a carabiner through the plastic and the straps now flow very readily. Fitting the cradles was simple and overall I think they are affordable and effective!

Fitted these to a set of generic oval roof bars. Simple to fit. On advice from a seasoned kayak'er I attached small pieces of cheap carpet tile to the 2 rear pads with cable ties to assist putting kayak on from the rear as the original rubber pads seriously prevent sliding of the kayak. So far I've used them to carry my sea kayak and my SOT fishing kayak which weights about 26kgs. Both kayaks were safe and stable. Delivery was quick and the price was good for the product. My only gripe is the small knobs on the underside to attach the cradles to the roof bars are difficult to tighten due to the position and size. Mind you I'm not sure how it could be changed or improved.
