“I use this on an erg and will try it in the boat (single scull and quad). So far so good, better for me than the seat cushion with cut outs as I have a hamstring tendonopathy. However, something to help it grip to the seat might improve its effectivceness. Watersports provided excellent service, quick and affordable delivery.”

“Works fine on my Waterrower, though a bit smaller than the seat and thinner than I expected though it is a great improvement on sitting straight on the hard seat and does not slip despite no fixings. (I am still using a cushion as well, but thought that might be the case when I ordered it)”

“The actual gel seat feels great but if I tip myself out of my single scull by accident the pad goes floating off down the river. Goodbye to nearly £50!! It really could do with a couple of pieces of elastic or something to fix it to the boat seat. I’ll be doing this myself.”

“I was a bit shocked at how thin the pad appeared when I received it - at the price I'd expected something more substantial. However, as soon as I started using it, my reservations melted away. I'm using it on an indoor rower (JTX Freedom Air) and I'm tall and heavy, so after a long session my tailbone would be rubbed raw. But with this pad in place the kilometers fly by and my bum remains comfortable....of course there is still some discomfort after a really long (1hr+) session, but it really makes an enormous difference. Fits the seat of the rower well, and stays in place - I've not moved it since I first put it down. Very highly recommended - yes it's expensive, but as far as I'm concerned it's worth every penny. I'd post pictures of my tailbone before and after, but I don't think anyone will want to see that ;-)”
