“I love this throwline, I have a Palm Alpine 20m throwline as well - and it's twice the size & weight. The Lightning fits in the front of my Raptor perfectly, is light & the rope is thick enough to hold comfortably under strain, yet isn't going to cut into your hand when used. The webbing loop is ideal for clipping a carabiner in and won't trap hands/fingers. Overall I'm really pleased with it & it's become my throwline of choice.”

“I bought this throw line for my teenage daughter, who loves it. The rope is exactly the right diameter to be comfortable in her hands. She was using a 15m bag with 11mm rope previously, but found it too big, bulky and heavy to be effective. She likes the 18m length, which means she has 3m by her feet and the full 15m to throw which she gets to the end of the bag. Result! With the usual Palm attention to detail I like the slightly stiff opening to assist with repacking. I like the magnetic clasp, and I like the small loop on the base of the bag for clipping into whilst maintaining the clean rope theory. The other big bonus for my daughter is no one else in the club has a green bag with green rope.... so it is just cool.”
