“I deliberated for a long time before ordering this shower screen. My preference would have been the Huppe brand (Innov8 by Roman came close) because a bifold door opening into a small shower space poses a safety concern. Huppe is not available in the UK (I checked with the manufacturer) and I was unable to physically check the quality of the Roman shower screen. The quality of the Merlyn Series 8 is superb, but in the end it was down to the wall profile and hinges. I had to redesign the shower area to factor in the inward folding shower door - so that in the event of a fall during showering, rescuing in a restricted space would be unhampered. The team at Ergonomic Designs replied to my emails promptly, online chat and ordering was easy, delivery was on time. Price not bad, not the cheapest, but good communication and peace of mind is worth paying a little extra for.”
