“Unfortunately the calmer made no difference at all to my horse. I bought the starter 600g pack and the information on the website stated that a horse would need 30 to 50g per day. The information further stated that at 30g per day, the calmer would last 3 weeks. Obviously this is slightly incorrect, as 600/30 = 20 days, not 21. However when the pack arrived, it transpired that 30g per day was a maintenance level and that a highly stressed horse should have more to start off with. So I gave him 45g per day. I was also advised that I would need to feed him consistently for 3 weeks to see any benefit. At the level I was giving it to him, I had to buy another pack. The two packs lasted for 26 days at a cost of £50. After all that, there has been no change at all. He still has separation issues, spooks if a gate that was shut yesterday, is open today, doesn't like big rattly vehicles and will not be calm if he is in his stable and no other horse is in. Its a shame, because clearly it has worked for some horses - just not for mine.”

Thank you for sharing this with us. We are so sorry to hear that No More Nerves is not currently working for your lovely horse. There can be a number of underlying reasons which cause horses to display spooky/reactive behaviours, these can range from pain and discomfort to feeding excess energy in the diet. Unfortunately in these cases a calming supplement will not work.
