“I have always been quite sceptical about calmers as I think that it could just be a placebo. However, my mare gets so stressed and anxious that sometimes she doesn’t even eat as she is too busy looking out of her stable for those approaching tigers! She is the same out on a hack - always on high alert and she finds it very difficult to relax. So, having suffered from anxiety myself and knowing how awful it is, I thought I’d give this No more Nerves a try.
At first there didn’t seem to be much improvement, even after the three weeks that they recommend that you allow. But about four to five weeks after first feeding her this, I began to notice her relax more and more.
She is definitely more able to cope with life now and she is much easier to hack out.
I have been feeding her No more nerves for a few months now and she shows very few signs of anxiety compared to how she was.
It will be interesting to see how she is in the spring time when she is always at her worst!
But for now I can completely recommend this and I’m sure that my horse would too as she finds it much easier to relax.
We both enjoy our hacks much more these days!”
