“I’ve been using Gamucci original tobacco rechargeables as an alternative to my usual Njoy rechargeables, simply because my experience over the last year or so is that Njoy cannot be relied on to be in stock, either over the counter or on-line. So far. I have had no problems in obtaining Gamucci on-line.
Setting up with Gamucci is significantly more expensive than Njoy, because the Gamucci starter kit contains only a single battery compared with Njoy’s two. Once set up with two batteries, I am still uncertain which make is the more economical, although I suspect Gamucci might be the long-term winner, which is why I will probably stick with it as my standard product, for a while at least.
Gamucci construction quality seems excellent.
Connection between battery and cartridge is a precision screw-in, quite effective, but not as convenient and quick as Njoy’s almost instant push-pull system.
Taste is quite strong and sweet, both moreso than Njoy and I am becoming more used to it.
I don’t like what I consider to be the excess air leakage between cartridge and battery, making it difficult to get a satisfying vapour inhalation. It’s a deliberate design function which, with some difficulty, can be reduced by very careful finger placement on the joint while inhaling.”
