“I'm a 20 a day smoker. I can't smoke RYO, normally just cigarettes and I've had an IQOS kit lying around for a while now.
I've been using it the odd time for the in-between when I've had a packet of cigarettes, and when I've got none, which was sufficient enough for the cravings to stop.
I decided one day, I'd try to smoke only this. It's cheaper. The smoke is near on the same as having a proper one, maybe a little bit drier but not too noticeable.
It's really stylish looking, and tastes and smells a little bit like tea at first, although you do get used to it. I've been using it for 2 weeks now, and bought myself another device just incase the other one doesn't charge, because as smokers we don't just have one lighter do we lol
I've not noticed any difference I'll be honest, I still feel like I'm smoking as usual. I'm not smoking any more than I normally would either.
It's easy to use; the charging case will last all day for a person that smokes 20 a day. The unit itself only lasts for 2 cigarettes before it needs to go back into the case to charge.
Switch on with the front button of the device until it buzzes. Then it'll buzz again when it's ready.
It will buzz when there's about 30secs left to smoke as well.
I'd recommend a few things if you're going to try it. I would leave taking a smoke until after 30 secs of the device buzzing to say that it's ready, as the first would feel like nothing if you don't.
Make sure it's cleaned out every day. It cuts the cigarettes and heats them properly when it is, you'll notice it's not when its difficult to push the stick into it.
They're not stocked in every corner shop, so check around first where you can buy them. The big supermarkets have them, but you might need to stock up if you're going down the online route.”
